German Shepherd puppies go through color stages when growing up. Their coat is first mostly black and they only have tan "socks". Then from week to week they start growing into these socks and they are getting lighter and lighter till they have the original German Shepherd colors. The sable German Shepherd puppies on the other hand are born brownish, then their whole coat is getting very light, almost a sand color. Then when they are four to five month old, they are getting darker until they are dark, black or red sable. South Florida German Shepherd breeder has currently German Shepherd puppies for sale!
